Overlay was formed in 2025 by Emeshaw Molina and Emilio Andres and released their debut single "Without You" on February 19, 2025. They have issued several singles including "Fade Away," "The Line," "Shattered Sight," and "Dead Inside" (released March 25, 2026) — the latter features Marcos Leal. In 2026 the band was preparing a Texas tour with MiniKiss and Upon A Burning Body.
