San Antonio’s Will Owen Gage has been playing blues, rock, and American roots music for 25+ years, and has the kind of resume that only comes from decades of doing the work. He was sitting in with bands at 11 years old, landed a weekly Friday night gig in 7th grade, and has since opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Three Dog Night, and Dick Dale, played legendary Texas venues like Luckenbach and Gruene Hall, and toured Texas, the Midwest, and Europe with legendary Texas rockabilly group Two Tons of Steel. His sound pulls from the deep well of American blues, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert King, SRV, and delivers it with the genuine grit and groove of someone who has been living this music his entire life. A Smash’d stage that’s in very good hands.
