The Upstairs Studios at Blue Star

The Upstairs Studios at Blue Star is a collection of artist-run studios and small exhibition spaces on the second floor of the Blue Star Arts Complex, active since 1986 and typically open during First Friday/First Thursday/Third Thursday art nights. The studios sit above venues like Brick at Blue Star and host rotating shows by local artists and collectives as part of Southtown’s monthly arts scene. Set along the San Antonio River at the southern end of the River Walk in the Blue Star district, it’s walkable to breweries, cafes, and other galleries within the complex.
